Caterpillar Hostplants | Red Bud (Cercis canadensis) is the main host in our area. In other parts of its range, different subspecies use Mountain-Laurel (Sophora secundiflora), Texas Bluebonnet (Lupinus texensis), Yaupon Holly (Ilex vomitoria), Texas Persimmon (Diospyros texana). |
