Sighting Locations | Look for along woodland edges and in open fields. |
| Seasonal Flight Data | Flight Period: Late February - November; warm winter days adults temporarily come out of hibernation. Several broods (4-5) throughout the spring, summer and fall. |
| General Notes | An infrequent visitor to flowers for nectar, it can reliably be drawn to the yard by placing out a tray of rotting fruit (bananas, plums, pears, etc.) |
