| Caterpillar Hostplants | Winter Cassia (Senna bicapsularis), which does not naturally occur in North Texas. Possibly other Senna and Cassia species.. |
| Area
Sighting Locations | One specimen collected at Kiest Park in Dallas, Texas in 1943. |
| Seasonal Flight Data | As a stray, if seen at all, it would most likely show up in mid to late summer or fall. |
| General Notes | A rare stray to North Texas, its large size and unusually scalloped wings make it easily distinguishable from the other large sulphurs of our area |
